Software Sweden after seeking billions – IT.branschen

that the various parties met just yesterday was no accident, but it was because it was the last day to give input to the Foundation for Strategic research (SSF) research strategy for the years 2017-2021. Swedsofts suggestions hope that through research to contribute to two things, first, to be Swedish companies in the future have a leading position in the world for innovative, reliable and cost-effective complex software-intensive systems. And secondly, Sweden will be prominent in defining, acquiring and using complex software-intensive systems in all public functions in a safe manner. It is considered an important prerequisite for Sweden’s long-term and sustainable prosperity in an increasingly digitized and globalized world.

The approach has been signed by representatives of many different actors in society such as SAAB, Ericsson, the Swedish Transport Agency, IT & amp; telecom companies, Linköping University and KTH.
– Sweden and Swedish companies are really facing big challenges. It is therefore encouraging that there have been so easy to engage industry, academia and government in formulating this submission. We have a large consensus within the software Sweden about the importance of investing in research in complex software-intensive systems, says Swedsofts Chairman Stefan Andersson.
