The lunch aväts at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, “Silicon Valley”, California, and those who wish may bring additional lunch familiar. The winner will also get two VIP tickets to an Apple event. The money goes to the human rights organization Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, which Tim Cook is on the board.
While on previous occasions, Cook-lunches gone for hundreds of thousands of dollars. But the trend seems, like Apple’s sales, to be downward: the first auction in 2013 went for 610 000 dollars, the other for 330 000, the third 200 000 or so now 125 000 as the highest bid.
