System update for the PlayStation 4 released today, and makes it possible to stream games to a pC or Mac.
99mac have previously written about an upcoming system update for the game console PlayStation 4 that will make it possible to stream games from the console to a Mac. Now announces # Sony that the update will be released today.
function is called Remote Play, and works for both Mac and PC with Windows 8.1 or later and OS X 10.10 Yosemite or later. The current is limited to a maximum of 720p and 60 frames per second. The game controller for the PS4 can be connected to the computer with a USB cable.
This means that eager PS4 owners can play via their computer, even if the living room TV gets busy.
