the unexpected statement came in a television interview in India, where Cook is visiting. In the interview he was asked about Apple phones – which costs about 130 percent more in both Sweden and India than in the US – are really worth its price.
The answer from Cook read that he agreed that the price tag possibly too high in India, and declared that Apple is considering lowering the price, writes Business Week.
– I understand that prices are high. We will try to reduce them over time, to the extent that we can, ‘said Cook.
