One of the world’s largest messaging now takes the step from mobile devices, with apps for both Windows and Mac. With this, Whatsapp now clients for most platforms, in addition to the general browser support.
the new apps for Mac and Windows does not come with any major news, compared with the web version. The greatest benefit of having a program for the messaging service is that keyboard shortcuts, push notifications, and other things should work better.
The apps are available for download directly from Whatsapp’s website. For Mac requires that you have Mac OS 10.9 or later.
Facebook-owned Whatsapp has over one billion active users.
