From March 1 get police and customs law to lock the vehicle that violates the law.

The magazine Ny Teknik reported earlier that police procurement of locking devices, the so-called “vices”, was delayed and that the authority thus large empty-handed before the law that gives the right to lock the illegal vehicles introduced on 1 March.

Two variants tested

The two variants tested are partly a mechanical wheel lock that is placed around the wheel, thereby preventing the continued journey. The second variant is a valve lock wrapped around one or more of the vehicle’s wheels valves. Should the vehicle is moving, the air out of the tires and the vehicle is forced to stop after a short distance.

– Wheel clamp should be seen as an extreme measure, and could be used as a vehicle pose a significant danger to road safety, writes police his website.
