Microsoft shows off Teams have their sights clearly set on the Slack – PC for All

yesterday, Microsoft announced its new platform Teams, which shall compete with the instant messengers like Slack and Hipchat.

the Teams will be released for Mac, IOS, Windows, Android and browser version. It will be integrated with Office 365 and will also be able to talk with external platforms such as Hootsuite, Intercom and Zendesk. In addition, Teams tightly integrated with Skype in order to be able to offer audio and video conferencing.

For the moment, there are Teams just as a preview and is limited to Office 365′s Business – and Enterprise-versions. A test in 181 countries and 18 languages is ongoing, however, and the official release is sometime in 2017.
