During the second quarter of the year ended reseller Atea turnover of 3.010 billion and EBITDA ended at SEK 75 million , an increase of 23 percent compared with the second quarter last year.
Atea’s sales in Sweden continue to increase. It is not just the results that have risen but also the business volume – and 17 percent. In hardware, the change was greatest where increased namely sales by 26 percent against last year’s second quarter. It will depend on continued strong demand in communications, data center and collaboration combined with the fact that more and more municipalities are choosing to integrate ICT in education.
– Nowadays ICT in school an integral part of learning and Atea’s concept to train head teachers, school leaders and teachers in the new approach means that IT as a teaching tool is integrated in the best way for both students and staff says Carl-Johan Hult Heim, CEO of Atea Sweden.
The turnover during the preceding quarter ended at 3,010 billion was a year ago at 2.566 billion, while EBITDA rose from 61 million last year’s second quarter to this year’s 75 million.
