The Judiciary starting to catch up
– I think it is gratifying that the judiciary starting to catch up, it is good that the police get the data in this way, says Mårten Schultz who is president of the Institute for Law and the Internet and professor of civil law.
– For it is only possible to solve these crimes, as these violations that take place online in cooperation with the major IT players. So it is a very positive development, he said.
Is there not a risk that too lightly obtains information?
– There is always a Such a risk and you should be careful with personal data especially when it is the State that requests them. But in these cases the risk is far greater for the people who are victims whose crimes can not otherwise be investigated.
