Between 2006 and 2011 disappeared every ten jobs in Sweden due to intelligent machines have taken over. Involves a total of 450,000 jobs according to a new report from the Reform Institute.
The jobs that have disappeared are mainly routine jobs in industry, commerce and administration .
But digitization also provides new job. The report shows that the number of computer specialists has increased by 3000 per year and is expected to be the profession that grows most of all occupations over the next 20 years.
Generally expected an increased need for engineers not only in data according to the report. One reason is that the job requires creativity which is more difficult to replace with computers. Engineers are also well placed to take advantage of technology to increase productivity.
Engineers with routine tasks expected to eventually be replaced by computers in the same way as in all other areas.
