Apple’s new system fonts named San Francisco, and a video of the WWDC, we are told everything about the new grotesque.
Apple’s proprietary typeface San Francisco was launched in conjunction with Apple Watch, but has also appeared on the keys on the new computer, Macbook, and the new system fonts in the IOS 9 and OS X El Capitan.
During last week’s developer conference # WWDC, Apple held a seminar where the detail presented the new font that, like Helvetica is a ‘grotesque or sans-serif. The seminar can be viewed as a video on the Apple developer site.
Apple has also published a web page where the font and other resources can be downloaded by registered developers who want to use it in their apps.
