The letter emphasizes she how devastating it is for less established artists having to give away their music for free in a full quarter and trying to persuade the company to change its policy.
“We are not asking for free iPhones, so please do not ask for our music without compensation,” she writes.
Swift pulled November back all their music from Spotify on the grounds that the sale of her CDs fell sharply. The pop star’s album ’1989′ has sold more than 4.9 million copies in the US since it was released in October.
Apple Music launched in late June and will offer subscribers a wide selection of music for ten dollars a month .
