ERP market is facing major changes, says Soren Janstål, business expert at the DPU Research. Many of the systems developed in the 1990s and which today dominates the large Swedish companies start to come generously years.

– Now emerge these new technologies up to the cloud, social and big data, says Sören Janstål. This means that those sitting on old technology has been difficult to absorb this. The suppliers that do not have any old backpack has a head start, which Fortnox, Ataio and NetSuite. They are already out there in the cloud.

The established suppliers , however, has a couple of major advantages, adds Soren Janstål. For example, they sit on the market contacts. But he believes that they should consider acquiring one of upstarts who appear on the market.

– They can not to struggle on indefinitely, they ought to buy up smaller companies, who are in the early stages.

Also on the customer side think Soren Janstål that it will raise voices for change – especially at the large companies.

– When see other businesses located with more modern systems, you start soon realize you want something different, cloud-based systems. In the end, the price is unacceptable, because the maintenance costs too much.

– Those is the most solid of these systems is the large companies, where the whole working is designed for the business system. Small businesses do not own adjustments in the same way.
