In the last edition of Office for Windows and OSX, Microsoft invests more on cooperation than the new slick features. Cooperation aims in this case both to make it easy to work together with your colleagues, and that the programs in the package must interact better.
Many features that have long been implemented in the Web version of Office will also finally for desktop users.

Outlook becomes smarter to sort your inbox, and has a faster search function. While Excel 2016, Integrated Power BI functionality, which should result in little sexier tables and graphs.
