Beowulf is based on the drive technology of the vehicle family BvS10, and historical links with the Swedish defense Snowcat 206 40 years old.
The vehicle is equipped with a 6.7 liter turbodiesel Cummins 285 horsepower and comes up to a top speed of 65 km / h. It can handle inclines of 45 degrees and is amphibious. Tape drive allows Beowulf to get around in swamps, snow or loose sand.
The load capacity is up to 8 tons and location are 14 people. The tracked vehicle can be used for military transport, both materiel and personnel, but also for civilian missions, particularly when rescue.
A potential customers who have shown interest in the new generation of tracked vehicles is the British Navy who need to replace some of their old BV206.
