Apple and Cisco announces a new partnership that will benefit the companies’ joint customers. The goal is to create a “passing lane” for corporate customers who use iOS devices on the Cisco network and getting into iPhone and iPad in Cisco’s enterprise environments.

The collaboration was presented during Cisco’s annual ‘GSX’ conference Global Sales Experience in Las Vegas on Monday. Apple CEO Tim Cook visited to talk about the news.

This is another step in Apple’s focus on business customers. Last year, the company initiated a partnership with IBM that has resulted in a number of dedicated business apps for iOS devices.
