Last year, Google took first place, but this year Apple is back on top in the world 100 most valuable brands to be ranked.
Millward Brown’s annual market survey lists the world’s one hundred most valuable brands for the tenth consecutive year. Last year, Google topped the list, but this year Apple is back at the top and is valued at 247 billion dollars, an increase of 67 percent from last year.
This is one of the success of the iPhone 6 and the associated fuss around Apple’s brand is behind the increase from last year, according to the report.
In the ten years that Millward Brown has compiled its report and Charts, Apple’s brand has increased most of all with the full 1446 percent. In fact, the company was not even on the list first year.
