Now is IOS 10 larger than the IOS 9 – MacWorld

After just a couple of weeks on the market so has IOS 10 a larger installeringsbas than IOS 9. Apple’s latest mobile operating system reaches the 48,16% of all devices, while IOS 9 is falling behind on 47,79%, reports Cult of Mac.

IOS users are generally diligent in updating their phones. This is thanks to the fact that Apple releases their updates to all compatible devices at the same time, and the fact that users do not need to rely on the operators ‘ adjustments.

Another thing is that 4.06% is still the harrows with IOS 8 or earlier. What this depends on is hard to say, but a qualified guess is that many are still sitting with an Iphone, Ipad and Ipod Touch that are not compatible with newer systems.

Men tried to attract with the girl in the Cork – Sveriges Radio

the Girl was on her way home from school in Cork when it all occurred and the school now invites via their website parents to talk with their children about the event.

– There is concern among the children. We urge them not to walk alone home from school without a classmate, ” says Ann-Marie Kettisen who is the principal of the school.

How often something like this happens?

” Very rarely. Some years ago there was a mysterious car in the area. But then there was no one who stayed and tried to lure with the kids, ” says Ann-Marie.

– It is important to talk about this with their children. Parents have a great responsibility, especially after the holidays.

What say the parents to their children?

“I understand that some children have a code, so if there would be someone who stops and says that even the mother is sick, so there must be a password,” says Ann-Marie Kettisen.

Swedish headphones screws up with 3d-prototyping – New Technologies

Hörlursbranschen is in the midst of the next technology shift: the transition to wireless audio. In almost a year, the Swedish Jays worked hard with their first big headphones without the cord. During the development of 3d-printed prototypes played a crucial role in order to find the right ergonomics and feel.

When the Iphone 7 was launched, it became a major topic of conversation is not what the phone was for new features but rather what it lacked – namely, a hörlursport. Social media blew up quickly in a storm where Apple sometimes cursed, sometimes bannades.

With headphone maker Jays, the response was different. The news that Apple passed over to the wireless audio couldn’t have come at a more convenient time. In the last year, the Jays have worked hard to develop a bluetoothvariant of the headphones U-jays. Now is the fruit of this work in front of me on a table in the Jays premises.

” It has been quiet on the hörlursmarknaden a while. Now is a great technology at the time. We are convinced that Apple will push the breakthrough of wireless audio. When such a large company taking the plunge is usually the broad masses to follow, ” says Peter Cedmer, technical manager of the Jays.

To design a new pair of headphones is very much about finding the right ergonomics, durability and feel in the material. To be able to quickly test and evaluate ideas work Jays with rapid prototyping, which is the 3d printing of three-dimensional cad sketches.

” It’s one thing to see a model on a 24-inch display and another to feel it in your hand. Then we can easily test how the headphones are sitting, how much the strap will flex and the resistance of a certain mechanical part, said Jays lead designer Daniel Andersson.

Prototypes, that can be manufactured in a harder plastics like ABS and softer as TPE, are made by a partner to the Jays.

– How many prototypes we did with the Q-jays? It is not possible to count (laughs). We can imitate most materials with the prototypes. They are moreover so detailed that we can actually stop the real högtalardelar in them in order to make the acoustic tests, ” says Daniel Andersson.

After that the 3d sketches are sent may Jay their prototypes in two days. Each litter with 3d printing can also contain multiple versions with different designspår and materials.

– That we get the prototypes on the two days that we have time for two iterations in a week. And the sooner we can try out how something works, the faster we can move on towards a finished product, ” says Mårten Sahlén, product designer.

– Rapid prototyping represents an early phase in the development work – when we found a form that works, we go on to prototypes in SLA and silicone. But to work in this way, with 3d prototyping for rapid iterations, is absolutely critical for us, ” says Daniel Andersson.

But it is not only the design that has been a challenge in the development of Jays new headphones.

” Everyone understands how the wired headphones work, but it is more difficult with bluetooth. It has enabled us to contend with how we teach customers to use the headphones, ” says Mårten Sahlén.

How have you solved it?

” Among other things, by using different svepgester to pause, change the track and raise the volume. Svepgester is a way to use the gadgets that many recognize from the cell phone.

Bluetoothtekniken is a smorgasbord of possibilities. It has made that much of Jay’s work consisted in stripping away the features.

– Wireless is the future. But the technology does not need to be visible, it should just be there and work. The vast majority of customers want an experience where they do not need to reflect on how a product works. That is what good design is, ” says Daniel Andersson.

Apple is taking great strides in the enterprise market – this speaks for the success – IDG.see

Apple and management consulting firm Deloitte has just signed a new agreement, which may be seen as a further step in the teknikjättens efforts to attract more large enterprise customers. Under the common banner of Enterprise, Next turn they linked their bags, writes IDG News.

the Collaboration ties the company closer to Apple’s IOS platform and the means that they create a unique project. 5 000 strategic advisor will be assigned to solely dedicate themselves to help the companies to change how they work. From retail and recruitment to the inventeringshantering and back-office systems.

"the Iphone and the Ipad are changing the way people the world over are working. And through this partnership we will be able to help even more companies to take advantage of the incredible opportunities that only Apple’s ecosystem can deliver," said Apple ceo Tim Cook in a statement.

Sales of smart phones and tablets has been slow, the latest and Apple has lost market share. On the corporate side there have, however, looks brighter, half of all of the company’s tablets sold to businesses and government agencies. And it is in that segment Apple sees the greatest opportunity for their ecosystem, writes Computerworld.

also Read: Leak reveals: Apple maps which you are talking on Imessage

So what are talking to Apple will be the winner and the number one on the corporate side? Computerworld has listed ten reasons.

1. Collaborations

Deloitte is just the latest in a line of collaborations that hard – and the software maker is party to. For they are broad and have been working in the past with IBM, Cisco and SAP. Companies that have already built up a trust within enterprise it.

2. Satisfied customers

The companies that have so far acceded to the IOS seems to be satisfied with the outcome. It shall in all cases be one of the reasons that Deloitte jumped on the bandwagon. The company at the said in a statement that they themselves are using the mobile platform of over 100 000 units and run 75 custom apps.

3. Ecosystem

the big picture is the point, perhaps a matter of course. It is not just an operating system that is the issue here, without the ability to seamlessly move between Mac, pc and IOS devices. In addition, Apple’s annual upgrade also for the system, together with the fact that they often respond quickly in the event of security threats.

4. Developers

the Availability of good tools and an eager community of enthusiastic developers gives a good boost on the way. This means that businesses can connect tool that can be used both internally and externally, which in turn opens up for new innovations. What will happen when a store puts the teeth in Siri and a kartläggningsfunktion? Just one of many examples.

5. Integration

– Ability to work well with the already existing systems is a key to this collaboration work. Apple’s products must work with Windows, and it seems they do. IOS-the architects will be on hand to ensure that the solutions work seamlessly with Deloitte’s existing system. Today’s security policies advocate the companies to move to multi-platforms and heterogeneous networks. Already today, Apple has support for this type of highly-efficient tools for mixed platforms and the Exchange.

6. Millenials

the Younger generations want to work with the platforms they recognize, they are independent and trend-conscious. It is said that they can work longer shifts in exchange for they get to decide where, when and how. And many already use Apple products. When it is already difficult enough as it is to find the right skills, making some companies consider that it is equally good to give new employees what they require. The process to find the it staff is already difficult enough.

7. Bring your own device

the Basis for the success of the Iphone and Ipad was added several years ago when the Imac was first introduced. And with it a large focus on consumers. It, in turn, has made the demand at the workplace changed. And we want our private phones and computers to work with the job.

8. Security

Constantly this security. It’s like talking to Apple here, as compared with the Android is not at least the number of attacks targeting the mobile operating systems. 4 per cent against the Apple, and 74% against Android. But also the response time, where Apple usually respond within a couple of days where other platforms can take weeks, writes Computerworld.

All aware of it-managers and business requires today a stable system, but for the sake of it need to pay extra to secure their platforms. In line with the functions and services outsourced in the cloud, it is more and more about protecting the data. Which requires secure network where the information is protected between the various nodes in the system.

9. Transformation

Companies that successfully embrace the digital transformation has the chance to improve both turnover and profit. It says, among others, Rowan Trollope, head of Cisco’s iot and app title. And he is not alone, a number of studies show the same results. And Apple’s spirit hovers over the entire transition. The news site Bloomberg recently told that 75 percent of those who go into the app Bloomberg professional do it via a Appelprodukt.

10. Figures

the Figures are lying rarely. Of the 500 highest-rated companies in the united states, the Fortune 500, are using almost all of IOS in one way or another. Another study shows that among u.s. companies, which will purchase smart phones in the september plan 75% to buy the Iphone for their employees. The out purchased the Ipads are of very high degree, 94%, satisfied with them – according to Apple’s own figures.

Documents reveal: Apple saves the Imessage logs – 99mac

Apple’s chattplattform #Imessage to send messages that are encrypted from end to end, which according to Apple means that no one other than the sender and recipient can access and read the conversation, not even Apple themselves.

Leaked document shows, however, that the Apple stores metadata about the conversations, namely what phone numbers a user had contact with. This information is stored by Apple in 30 days and can be requested by the police and other authorities. It reports The Intercept as part of a secret document used by the police in Florida.

the Document goes through the type of information that is possible to request it from the #Apple, and shows that in addition to phone numbers saved to the recipient’s IP number and the date and time that a contact request took place.

What happens when a user sends a message using Apple’s Imessage system is that the app will contact Apple’s servers to find out if the recipient is also using Imessage. If it has, the message will be sent through the service which is displayed as a blue speech bubble. Otherwise, the message is sent as a normal TEXT message, and will appear as a green bubble. There is information about this specific request that is stored, and which can be requested.

The leaked document shows what data is stored.

Can’t prove the conversation

Request sent immediately when a message begins, and is stored thus, regardless of whether the message itself is then transmitted or not. According to the document stresses the Apple, therefore, that the information can not prove that a conversation between the two parties actually took place, but only that a request has begun. For example, it is possible that a phone number is entered incorrectly, and thereby be stored despite the fact that there is no link between the sender and the receiver. Alternatively, a conversation is started, but then never occur if the user changes.

Despite the fact that the document was used by the Florida police, it is not clear who wrote the document. By the wording that it seems not to be Apple itself that supplied it, and in the text, it is not clear either how often a request is made to Apple’s server. It does not seem to be each time a message is sent, after the original förfågan taken place.

Apple also confirmed to The Intercept that the information will be deleted after 30 days. A court order to request data, however, can often apply for longer than 30 days, which means that the authorities would be able to collect a series of logs over time, and then put together into a longer list of phone numbers.

Apple’s chat client is available on both Mac, IOS devices and Apple Watch.

Apple has previously taken a clear position for its user’s privacy, and repeatedly highlighted that the Imessage conversations are encrypted. Apple also provides a special web page where they state their privacy policy. Apple also outlines what type of data the authorities can request it from them, and how they respond to such a request.

The metadata around Imessage, which will be saved is not mentioned specifically by Apple on their site, but they write, however, that the logs of the connection to Icloud are stored for 30 days, and that a log of all calls made with videoappen Facetime is also saved.

Then: the Logistics manager for Tesla Now: Planning a Swedish battery factory – Veckans Affärer

But he is not the first american who attempted.

Tesla’s former chief of logistics, Swedish, Peter Carlsson, working for Sweden to have a battery factory like Tesla’s Gigafactory. There, he announced for the first time publicly on Wednesday, according to the New Technology.

After four years he left last year, the record that Tesla’s purchasing manager. He had served on the management team together with the legendary Elon Musk.

“After 4.5 years with Elon, I felt a need to control my own time,” he says.

Now he is the ceo and co-owner of the newly started Swedish company SGF Energy. During a seminar in Stockholm, he presented on Wednesday its new project: To bring about a large Swedish plant to supply Europe with batteries.

But he is not the first who’s tried. The Swedish “batteridrottningen” Christina Lampe-Önnerud, fought for many years to be able to start a factory for lithium-ion batteries in Sweden, but without success. It ended up instead in China.

In Nevada in the united states-based Tesla together with Panasonic, a battery factory which, when completed in 2020, is expected to become the world’s largest to the surface. Then the factory every year to produce lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 35 GWh. It is more than what the world’s all battery producers got in 2013.

“About the entire automotive industry to switch to electricity need huge amount of batteries. Then needed 100 to 150 Gigafabriker, there is a huge conversion. And, in Europe, happens in almost nothing. Almost all the bets on the battery production is in Asia,” says Peter Carlsson.

a few years ago cut off China’s supplies of rare metals to the rest of the world.

“The German automotive industry is extremely uncomfortable to ask about their portfolio so that you become dependent on Asia,” says Peter Carlsson.

at the same time electrified, more and more products. Buses, drones and scooters with electric drive are increasingly common.

Peter Carlsson’s plans for a large-scale battery factory in Sweden are still at an early stage. A feasibility study has been produced with the support of Vinnova and the Swedish energy agency.

“We think the conditions for a factory in Sweden and want to pursue it further. But there are many pieces that must fall into place,” he says.

the Idea is that the factory would become as big as Tesla’s Gigafactory, produce batteries with a total capacity of 35 GWh each year. The batteries would go to both electric vehicles and energy storage in the grid. Was the plant would be built is not clear.

Sweden has a unique potential to build a Gigafabrik, according to Peter Carlsson, inter alia, on the basis of access to electricity. Battery production is both energy – and power consuming, and a Gigafabrik of 35 GWh is estimated to have a connection of 300 MW.

Also available in metals speak for Sweden’s part, he considers.

“the Ability to use Swedish and scandinavian mining and creating supply chains for raw materials is quite unique. There is lithium, and nickel in Finland and one of the world’s largest concentrator of cobalt is outside the Kokkola smelter in Finland. Graphite, nickel and manganese are in Sweden,” he says.

another advantage for Sweden is the availability of renewable energy.

“From the energy point of view, it is only in Sweden, Norway and Iceland that you can claim that you produce a completely green battery”, says Peter Carlsson.

But there are several challenges to build a Swedish jättefabrik for battery production. The largest is spelled money. 40 billion is estimated the factory cost.

It would also be necessary in addition to skills. Peter Carlsson sees before him a large number of international experts would need to be included from Asia and the united states.

Peter Carlsson company SGF Energy is now considering to move on to the next phase, which is about to establish a project office to shake up the financing for the construction. The initial phase would cost approximately sek 85 million.

“Of the meetings we have had so far, I think that the interest is huge,” he says.

Researchers: Musks Marsprojekt not rocket science – the Swedish newspaper svenska Dagbladet

Elon Musk unveiled his plans to get people to March during the International Astronautical Congress in Guadalajara, Mexico, yesterday. Photo: Refugio Ruiz/AP

for a fantastic show on rymdkongressen IAC in Guadalajara the night of Wednesday, the Swedish time told Elon Musk about the grandiose plans to colonize the red planet.

"Space X Interplanetary Transportation System" is the name of the project that will take man to Mars. As early as 2022, the first craft to lift and it can get the name "Heart of Gold", inspired by the ship in the cult book "the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy". Together with hjälpraketen it will be as long as two Boeing 747, writes The Guardian. In a futurisk video describes the Space X the whole of the craft’s journey to mars.

the Risk of dying will be high, there is no way to get away from it.

The multi-faceted entrepreneur Musk founded Space X in 2002. The company became the first commercial operator to get a contract with Nasa. Space X has so far only done a few rocket launches, but in 2018 to send up the capsule Dragon 2 to March. Then without passengers. During the presentation acknowledged Elon Musk that there are other risks when you send people up in space.

– The first trips to Mars will be very dangerous. The risk of dying will be high, there is no way to get away from it.

the Rocket that will transport the first 100 people will be powered by 42 of the Space X proprietary Raptor engines, which recently did a successful test. The journey to Mars will take up to 80 days, and according to Musk, passengers will be kept entertained during this time, among other things, weightlessness, cinemas and pizza.

When the rockets start going regularly it will, according to Space X calculations take between 40 and 100 years to completely colonize the planet. Something which, according to Elon Musk is necessary.

– There are two fundamental ways humanity faces today. One is that we stay on the earth forever, and experiencing an inevitable extinction. The alternative is that we become a spacefaring civilization, and a multiplanetär art, ” he says.

But the motives behind the project can also be economic. Jan-Erik Wahlund, professor in space physics at Uppsala university and employed by the Swedish Institute of space physics IRF, highlighting the produce as a possible target for Musk.

– You might want to expand towards the nearby asteroid belt. There are many raw materials and resources in the form of metals. March will be a natural staging point for this.

To implement rymdexpeditioner like those Elon Musk has plans involves high costs. Vetenskapsreportern Elizabeth Lopatto mean in an analysis to the entire presentation in Mexico mostly is about to get up finansiärers interest for the project.

You don’t even know for sure if there is life there or not.

the Cost to transport a man to the Mars is located in the day at the breathtaking $ 10 billion, approximately sek 86 billion. But when the Space X has started with the travel, this number can be cut down to 200 000 dollars, about 2 million, according to the company.

– if you Want to have such a cost estimate must be put in the system to get repetitive trips. And there are certainly many who want to go, ” says Jan-Erik Wahlund.

Elon Musk is not the first with långtgångna ideas that take people to the March. The Dutch entrepreneur Bas Lansdorp unveiled his project Mars One 2012. A project that means a one way trip into space, and as the ” great great interest. Over 300 000 applications to comply with.

But there are many dangers during a space mission. Among other things, the lack of hospitals, and the radiation from the sun. Jan-Erik Wahlund do not believe in Mars One or Space X plans. You should instead go more cautiously, ” he says.

– It is way too risky. There is no infrastructure or support. You would probably rather go there with a which, to set up a base and take it a bit carefully. We don’t even know for sure if there is life there or not.

Ella Carlsson Sjöberg is phd in physics and has written the book "Forward March!". She’s working with to develop the Swedish rymdbasen Esrange in Kiruna, and is positive to the Musks ideas.

” It’s really good with the new initiatives, and people who are enthusiastic. This is a hope for the future. Something to dream about and hope for.

This is not "rocket science", even if it is there.

But there are some question marks, she thinks. Partly safety, but also the plan when they come up.

– Nowadays to satellites up as quickly as possible and solve the tasks. But when it comes to people, it is necessary in the first place think about their safety and sustainable solutions. And it has nothing to say about what happens when it will arrive. How they lift again, how will they live?

She adds that oroligheten in the world, with the war in Syria, among other things, can slow down the speed on a similar project.

– This is not "rocket science", even if it is there. It is also very much about devotion. It is turbulent in the world and you have to spend a lot of time there. It would have been quieter had they been able to focus more on developing space travel.

Musks new spaceship will take you to the March – for the 1.7 million – New Technology

This is SpaceX’s Interplanetary Transport System, meant to take humanity to Mars. The new spaceship should be able to take 100 people to the red planet in 80 days. The price for a ticket? Just over 1.7 million.

yesterday, Tuesday spoke to SpaceX founder Elon Musk on astronautkonferensen International Astronautical Conference in Mexico.

On the agenda were Elon Musks ambitious plan to colonize Mars.

During the draw presented to the Swedish space corporation plans to build Interplanetary Transport System (ITS), which consists of a new, larger rocket and a space capsule with the capacity to accommodate 100 people.

Well linked together, the rocket and rymdkapseln have a height of 122 metres, which is almost twice as high as SpaceX’s previous Falcon 9. The launcher and the capsule will be diameters of twelve, respectively, seventeen yards.

ITS to be shot up from Cape Canaveral and will be equipped with 42-Raptor engines, which SpaceX has successfully tested for the first time in a week.

Musk pointed out that the new engines have the same size as SpaceX’s earlier Merlin engines, but are significantly more powerful and have the capability to send a payload of 300 tonnes to earth orbit with a reusable rocket.

In the orbit will SpaceX’s new space capsule – which probably should be named the Heart of Gold tanked, while the thrower takes itself back to the earth to be able to be paired with a new capsule. The journey back to the display is expected to take just over 20 minutes.

Read more: This is the bill for the Musks rocket crash

the Use of reusable rockets and the fact that rymdkapseln refuelled with new fuel in orbit is crucial to be able to keep down the cost. Each launcher should be able to be used 1 000 times before retirement – the corresponding figure for rymdkapseln is on the twelve.

According to Musk’s early calculations, the price for a Marsresa be around 200 000 dollars per person, which corresponds to about 1.7 million. The company’s hope is that you will be able to lower the cost to 100 000 dollars by increasing the herd to 200 people.

the Trip to Mars, which takes place at a speed of just over 100 000 kilometres per hour, is estimated to take 80 days. Space capsule is equipped with two solar panels that unfurl during the journey and can generate 200 kW of energy. To make the long journey more pleasant promises Musk to SpaceX’s new capsule, among other things, will be equipped with a restaurant, a cinema and a playroom, where the crew can experience weightlessness.

All the while the crew starts to build a colony with the help of various technical hardware that already has been shipped to the planet before the manned expedition’s arrival.

the Development of ITS so far has cost SpaceX tens of billions of dollars, according to Elon Musk. If the company manages to keep its schedule will be to send an unmanned Dragon-lastkapsel to March 2018. The first manned launch is planned for 2024, with an arrival to the red planet during the subsequent.

the Goal of the ITS program is to build a long-term colony. According to Elon Musks estimates, it would require between 20-50 launches over the course of 40 to 100 years to be able to create a completely self-sufficient society with a million inhabitants.

Here is the big chasing engineers – New Technology

A hot building engineering. New Swedish-developed heavy-duty vehicles. And a domestic automobile manufacturer, which takes up the fight with the world’s top. The market for Swedish engineers is far more than krisförhandlingar at Ericsson. New Technology has talked with ten large ingenjörsarbetsgivare.

On Ericsson it is grim. 3,000 jobs are at risk and the factories in Borås and Kumla can be shut. Closely associated with this, there are engineering jobs in research and development. A total of 1 050 engineering jobs threatened.

Yet the image of american technology is significantly lighter than that.

Volvo Cars, for example, is currently conducting one of the largest rekryteringskampanjerna in the company’s 89-year history. Bilbyggaren has 6 000 employees engineers and will hire 400 next year.

Read more: Ericsson-crisis: the Minister appoints the crisis management group

Above all, it is large-scale investments in new technologies in areas such as self-driven cars and electrification, which creates the need. The same applies to the heavy vehicles of Volvo AB

We are looking in the day after 20 people who can be autonomous and self-driven vehicles. The skills we are looking for is, above all, in the software and data, ” says Joakim Kenndal, Volvo AB’s press office.

the Volvo group and Scania, which also launched a new truck, is a big and important part of Swedish industry and the three companies to the good times is evident in the statistics. A new survey from the association of Swedish engineering industries show that the Swedish teknikkoncerner increased the number of employees in Sweden, which is a reversal of the trend. In Sweden the number increased by a little over 2 000 people in 2015 to nearly 109 000, equivalent to 15.6% of the surveyed groups all employees.

Read more: Swedish technology companies are hiring more

– this depends on the success in the automotive industry, ” says Anders Rune, chief economist at Teknikföretagen.

another industrial giant of its own is automation and kraftkoncernen ABB with 9 000 employees, of which 6 000 are engineers.

” We have need of a hundred engineers during the year, but some will be solved with internal recruitments. The total number will be at about the same level as now. We replace those who retire or quit at ABB, says Mary Brithon Brinck, director of human resources for ABB Sweden.

But it is not as merrily to all companies. There is no real momentum on the global economy and demand is somewhat weak. As for the steel, for example. When the New Technology is asking the FEDERATION to answer questions about how their recruitment of engineers looks to answer in an e-mail that they do not wish to participate. The company has announced the cutbacks after the merger with Finnish Rautaruukki, SSAB more competitive on a stålmarknad that are struggling with overcapacity and falling prices.

In the Swedish construction industry, on the other hand, is booming.

“I see a very bright future,” says Åsa Bergman, president of the consulting engineering firm Sweco.

Sweco intends to hire around 750 of engineers in Sweden in the year, a development that has been constant the last few years. Åsa Bergman stated that the addition to engineers with competences linked to the real estate and construction in particular are looking for new it engineers.

– It is new, it is affecting the future of the connected city, and we need people who have it skills, ” says Åsa Bergman.

the Same tone is heard from Skanska.

– We are hiring about 100 people a month and expect to continue to do so during the year and next year. Half of our civil service is the engineers, currently about 2 500, ” says Anna Wenner, hr director at Skanska Sweden.

That means in the first place ersättningsrekryteringar, but byggjätten grow something. Many companies are looking to access the most seasoned or talented byggnadsingenjörerna and Skanska are working to attract new employees, in the first instance on higher education institutions.

Can former Ericsson engineers to be current for you?

” Yes, they would be able to be. We expect of course that it will not be easy to find the classic skills and try to broaden our recruitment base, ” says Anna Wenner.

Peter Larsson, who is the social director at the Swedish association of graduate Engineers indicate that Ericsson employees have previously been successful in finding new jobs. Telekomjätten has been something of a nursery.

– If there will be layoffs, they will leaving to meet a good labour market. But one must not underestimate the problems and the time it can take for the individuals with conversions, ” says Peter Larsson.

top Ten companies of the need for engineers in the future

Accounts

"We will employ about 350-400. Plus another 300 if you count the ones we take over from Ericsson. We are looking for engineers with expertise in software, mechanical, and cyber-security. The number of engineers in the us will increase both in the short and long term."

Charlotte Magnusson, head of communications, Combitech.

CGI

"We will hire approximately 200 computer scientists in the year. Our need for engineers is great and will increase both in the short and long term."

David Henesy, hr manager at CGI Sweden.

ABB

"We have need of a hundred engineers during the year, but some will be solved with internal recruitments. The total number will be at about the same level as now. We replace those who retire or quit at ABB.

Mary Brithon Brinck, director of human resources for ABB Sweden.

Volvo AB

"We know that we have 200 engineers in the longer term. Competencies are more focused on data and it."

Joakim Kenndal, the press office.

SSAB

the SSAB does not want to respond to New Technology issues. The company has announced the cutbacks after the merger with Finnish Rautaruukki, SSAB more competitive on a stålmarknad that are struggling with overcapacity and falling prices.

Volvo Cars

Volvo Cars refers to a press release from August that say they are going to hire 400 "the coming year". They call rekryteringskampanjen "one of the largest in the company’s 89-year history".

Astra Zeneca

"For the remaining part of 2016, we will be hiring approximately 10 to 20 pieces, primarily within our manufacturing facilities in Södertälje, sweden. We believe in continued high demand and, for us, continuing education in Sweden, especially in science and technology is an important issue."

Jacob Lund, director of communications at Astra Zeneca.

Scania

"We employ close to 500 engineers a year and will continue to do so."

Hans-Åke Danielsson, press secretary.

Sweco

"We’re going to hire 1 000 to in year, of which approximately 75% are engineers. We see a very bright future and are looking for engineers who have expertise related to the construction and fastighetsindustri and energy, and it."

Åsa Bergman, president of Sweco.

Skanska

"We are hiring about 100 people a month and expect to continue to do so during the year and next year. Half of our civil service are engineers."

Anna Wenner, hr director, Skanska Sweden.

This has happened on Ericsson

On september 22, revealed the Swedish newspaper svenska Dagbladet that Ericsson has plans to shut down all manufacturing in Sweden. It would mean that around 3,000 jobs will disappear, of which about 1 050 posts linked to research and development.

Ericsson would not comment on the newspaper’s data, without referring to a press release in which they open up for the reductions in the workforce. "As we have previously said on several occasions, this means a reduction of the workforce. We have extensive operations in Sweden and it is no exception."

However, Per Norlander, trade union negotiator for the Swedish association of graduate Engineers at Ericsson, call SvD’s data "loosely shaped fantasies" in an interview with New Technology. Nevertheless, the minister for enterprise Mikael Damberg has set up a special crisis unit to manage the Ericsson case.

NASA will find water on Europa – Illivet

the Temperature on the surface is – 225 °C, and it is covered by a kilometertjockt layers of ice. Although it is Europe the place where it is most likely that we will find life in our solar system.

At a press conference yesterday, NASA presented evidence that Jupiter’s moon Europe, under its huge ice sheet is likely hiding in a liquid saltvattenshav, reminiscent of the oceans of the earth.

Thus confirmed rymdfartsorganisationen a theory that has long been discussed in research circles.

the Geysers reveals the sea

the Discovery was made with the help of the Hubble space telescope, which in 15 months has had his eye focused on Europe.

Three times the observed astronomers gigantic saltvattensgejsrar syringe out of the ice on the icy moon. Known geyser spouted up the water 200 kilometers above the surface, before it seemingly fell back and turned to ice.

According to the NASA astronomers is the underground sea gigantic. Despite the fact that Europe is slightly smaller than our own moon, expect the astronomers to Europe’s oceans and seas contain twice as much water as the oceans on the earth.

the Sea can support life

the Discovery of the water can at the same time mean that the moon is hiding in organic matter or even life. If we send a craft to Europe, it would go to investigate it.

It has previously not been considered possible, because the ice cover is too thick to get through. Because the water sprays up on the surface, however, it is quite possible to examine it.

An expedition to Europe, however, requires that the craft is sterile, so that the environment on the moon will not become contaminated with organic material from earth. For the first time, scientists have discovered plate tectonics on a planet other than earth. The discovery has made ismånen Europe to the astronomical hottest candidate for extraterrestrial life.
