In recent years, the number of new nätdroger detected increased every year. 2014 found Nationally forensic center in Linköping (NFC) 88 new substances of abuse. But now the trend may have reversed, reports Swedish Radio P4 Östergötland.
Until October 15 this year, the NFC found 40 new substances and will probably number no time to end up at 2014 levels.

A possible reason for the decline may be that those who buy nätdroger today are more cautious and that knowledge of the substances’ dangerousness has increased, believe the Public Health Agency.
