Ny Teknik contest Sweden’s smartest home was won by Erik Johannson on Öland and on Wednesday afternoon he received the price of Elmässan in Kista.
When P4 Kalmar caller Eric Johannson, he is still in celebrating mode and describes how he received the prize.
– We have celebrated with a really nice dinner yesterday evening and champagne breakfast in the morning here, says Erik Johannson.
Ny Teknik’s motivation reads:
“He has turned an old house into a smart home where technology is integrated in a cost effective and inventive way. “
Erik Johannson has, among other things, installing touch screens in the house who can both read temperatures, show the floor plan in 3D, change the music and even sound volume.
Meanwhile, Erik Johannson been told that he is a “fool” the people around him.
– People say “forget it there, put it down, it is no use, do something better with your life.”
But you have not listened to it?
– No, I know since before people are wrong sometimes. You have to go all in on this if there is to be any of that.
