Epson gives us the world’s first recycling machine for the office – and it’s … – IDG.se

We actually had might have hoped that the paperless office would be breakthrough by now. But no. However Epson hopes that the recycling bins will be only a memory. Instead, all paper recycled on-site, in a little over 2.5 meters long and 1.8 meters high device named paperlab.

Next year the company starts selling giant who becomes the world’s first machine for office use that can be make the old paper into new white sheets, without using water. And make the offices more environmentally friendly, writes the Wall Street Journal.

First, cut the paper down to the fiber. Instead of water, a special glue to bind together the mass of new sheets and regulates the whiteness of the paper. It churns out 14 new sheets per minute and about 6720 sheets in a normal eight-hour working day. It also reduces the emission of greenhouse gas, because it is no longer necessary for certain shipments to and from the recycling stations.
