Researcher: Sleep better – with pets in bed – Aftonbladet

To have, for example, their dog or cat sleeping in bed can be good for their own sleep.

It shows a US study, according to the Daily Mail.

A report based on data from 150 patients who came to a sleep clinic in the US Arizona shows that a pet can be the key to better sleep.

41 percent of the patients told namely that they slept better if their pets were in bed during the night. They made them feel safer, writes the Daily Mail.

Some experience irritation

Especially those who lived alone told me that they slept much better.

“A lone 64-year-old woman said she felt more at ease when her little dog slept under the covers at her feet,” the researchers write in the report.

Not everyone is completely satisfied with their pets at night.

Ten percent of those who came to the sleep clinic since 2013 have reported that they experience irritation to pets disturbed their night’s sleep, writes the Daily Mail.
