Apple intends gene test via mobile phone – New Technology

       

Gentestapparna will build on the platform “Reasearchkit” which Apple launched in March, and used for clinical studies, the newspaper Technology Review in an article about Apple’s plans in genomics.

According to Technology Review is planned already two apps where iPhone users will be offered DNA testing. The tests will be carried out by the partner in the academy.

In one study, researchers at UCLA in San Francisco to study the relationship between genes and premature born children. Ghent Estonians will be supplemented by other data from pregnant women collected using the cell phone.
