An aircraft powered by old cooking oil will fly between Bromma and Visby during Tuesday morning. It is Gotlandsflyg and Malmö Aviation who try to use biofuels.
It is a fuel that does not exist in large quantities and is 3-4 times more expensive than ordinary aviation fuel.
But the companies are in the Fly Green Fund that would promote the development of Swedish biofuels for aviation, in order to increase the amount of fuel so that the prices go down.
aviation runs on biofuel leaving Bromma at eleven o’clock and will Visby about a quarter to twelve.
