Flooding in at least 50 basements in Kumla and Hallsberg – Swedish Radio

A large number of homes have been affected by flooding in Kumla and Hallsberg, after all the rain. According Nerike Fire Brigade has at least 50 homeowners dialed and received help to pump out water from the basement.

It started to call at nine o’clock last night.

Now the pumps are close and owners are advised to themselves go away to a store and buy a pump. They have about the same capacity as our said internal officers on Nerike Fire.

In addition, there has been alarm that a mill pond is about to burst. A team leader is on his way there to see how serious it is. Kvarndammen located at Sorby Mill between Hallsberg and Pålsboda.
