Vulnerabilities in Apple’s iOS 9 – Expressen

The problem was discovered by a user, Jose Rodriguez, who demonstrated on Youtube how to access your pictures and contacts by entering the wrong PIN a number of times and then simultaneously activate Siri on the last attempt. In this way he got full access to the iOS device’s photos and contacts.

According to Macworld has the bug tested by technology blog AppleInsider confirming that the bug is on both the IOS 9 and iOS 9.0.1 which was released on Wednesday.

Change the code

To protect yourself intrusion, you can either change your four- or six-digit code to an alphanumeric code or close by so that Siri can not be activated when the device is locked.
