Armed robbery against gold shop – Norrköping Newspapers

The clock 17:21 alerted police about a robbery against goldsmith shop Wissings gold on Main Street 26th

Panic alarm in the store was activated and the room filled with smoke. Two masked and dark-clad perpetrators, probably armed, fled from the store.

– Possibly the weapons involved, any weapon similar items anyways, says Thomas Agnevik, police spokesman.

Several police patrols were alerted to center and searched for the robbers, who disappeared on foot.

– They have run Repslagaregatan against Jokikatu.

The police do not rule out that there may be several offenders than the two that were visible inside the store.

– Initially there is talk about the two robbers but we still can not lock ourselves in it, says Thomas Agnevik.

The police are interested in any witness statements and observations from the central Linköping .

– We want the witness to call in on 114 14. But one would suspect that one sees offenders, we want to call 112, said Thomas Agnevik.

Police have no information on store staff come to physical harm. It is unclear what the perpetrators brought with them from the store.

A couple of dozen police officers were working during the evening of the robbery and dog handlers and forensic technicians were on their way to the scene. Just before 20 was not yet suspected offender arrested.
