The results of the school fell before the 90′s school reforms – forskning.se

The authors study how the 1990s, major school reforms – municipalization, free school choice and independent schools – affected the students’ performance and equivalence of school.

In PISA and other international surveys drops knowledge of Swedish students in the 2000s. Scientists can using the earlier international measurements and test results from other studies to follow students’ knowledge further back in time.

– The reforms do not seem to be the trigger. The earnings decline is already evident in the early school years, but is enhanced in adolescence, says Anna Sjögren, who is one of the report authors. It is difficult to say how the reforms affected the continuing case.

Fewer have complete high school grades – but they do not seem to jump off
