During the launch of Huawei and P9 P9 Plus yesterday in London were one of the few media the opportunity to talk with Li Changzhu that are strategic and technological responsible for Huawei’s mobile business. Yesterday’s presentation focused largely on the dual cameras in Huawei P9, both cameras where the lens designed by Leica. – Leica has been very involved and our engineers have been working together both at our headquarters in Shenzen and separately with close contact. What is the biggest challenge of developing a camera in the P9?

How to match the Leica and Huawei brands do you think? Do younger users even what Leica is?
– No it is possible that they do not. It is a problem. Leica’s been a fairly niche brand that caters to a small group, but they keep on broadening now to attract a wider audience and it also fits us well.
