“That’s enough now,” says Dropbox – drops support for Windows XP – M3

It is increasingly difficult for backward rough makers to cling to Windows XP. Last week we reported that Google discontinues XP support for its browser Chrome – and now the popular storage service Dropbox same path.

The reason given is that new updates and features predicted lira poorly with the 14-year-old operating system – and many users shilly-shallying to leave XP has obviously got Dropbox tire. From June 26 XP users will no longer be able to download the Dropbox client, and you will not be able to log in or create an account through it.

But Dropbox do not intend to stop there. The 29 August , users who log in through the downloaded software will automatically be logged out. And will never ever enter the road again.

Those who stubbornly continue to run Windows XP – and Dropbox – will from this summer will be forced to use web interface. In the future, Dropbox in the application form is only available for those running Windows Vista model or newer.

You need not be worried about your files if you are forced out of Dropbox in late August. They will still be there when you log on to the Web, and can be accessed in the “old fashioned way” as soon as you update your windows.
