Google: buy medical equipment company to Google X-portfolio

 (SIX) Search engine company Google continues its journey into  health market. Google recently announced a company Calico  cooperation with Abbvie in age-related diseases. Now buy  parent company Google the American medical technology company Platform Labs.       It reports the online magazine Biospace.       Lift Labs develops medical devices and manufactures  otherwise a vibrating spoon and fork to help patients with  tremors, in diseases such as Parkinson's eating.       Life Labs was acquired for an unknown amount and will be included in  Google X's Life Science Team which includes a sensor fitted  contact lens developed to help people with diabetes to keep  track of their glucose levels.    Anna Sundström  mailto: anna.sundstrom@six-group.se  www.blogg.six.seSIXNews  SIX News
