Samsung S8 can get the LG Chem batteries – 99mac

After the disaster with the burning batteries in the Note 7 is looking now Samsung on other potential battery suppliers to the Galaxy S8, and LG is one of them.

After this forced Samsung to withdraw all Note 7 devices. According to The Korean Herald is now considering the Samsung to let #LG make batteries for the future phones from Samsung. A representative from Samsung will according to sources said that they are looking at various possible suppliers and that the LG is one of them.

Already when the first cases of the burning of the batteries started to fall into speculation about the Samsung would turn to LG to fix the problem, but given the estimated six months it would take to be able to implement batteribytet, it was not considered likely that the Note 7 would be equipped with the LG batteries.
