Boras Business owners convicted of long line of scams – Sveriges Radio

The 32-year-old man convicted of 685 cases of serious fraud and 251 cases of attempted fraud.

The man has conducted several one-man firms for many years. Common to the various companies have been he worked with so-called search engine optimization or the like. The buyers of the man’s service, usually other companies, would be due to his service get higher up in the search for Internet search.

The prosecutor Ove Jäverfelt, however, has meant that the man’s services were completely worthless, or that he would not deliver it. And Borås District Court has thus gone to the prosecutor’s line in its judgment, the man in the negative.

It has appeared in the fine print that only about an offer, but the mailings looked like real invoices. Many business owners did not notice the text on offer without paying money to Boras years, even though they had not ordered any service or received it.

The judgment states that fraud should be considered as serious because “they were of a particularly dangerous nature when they occurred systematically and on a larger scale and intended significant values total “. In addition to the three-year prison sentence prohibits the man to run a business for five years. He must also pay compensation to the duped entrepreneurs.
