Tim Cook in the big meeting with Apple employees – 99mac

The days after Apple’s latest quarterly report Tim Cook held a meeting with its employees at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino. 9to5Mac reports with reference to several sources who say that both Cook and Apple’s Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams spoke on topics such as employee benefits, the new headquarters campus 2 and products Ipad and Apple Watch.

Tim Cook opened the meeting by talking about Apple’s latest kvartalsrepport. According to him, Apple sold enough iPhones during the quarter to accommodate the entire population of New York, London, Beijing and Shanghai. Cook also said Apple Watch was one of the “hottest Christmas gifts” and that the watch sold more than the first iPhone model made Christmas 2007. The new Apple TV sold better than any previous model during Christmas. Tim Cook said that Apple TV and TV OS lays the foundation for a “bright future” for Apple in the living room.



Belief in Ipad and Iphone

Tim Cook also received a question about the decline of iPad sales, and replied that he expected renewed growth in the segment to the end of 2016. Cook said to be particularly stubborn when it comes to iPad, and according to the sources he used an iPad Pro to read notes during his presentation .
