Enthusiasts from all over Sweden and other parts of the world, gathered in Campushallen in Linköping university to participate in Sweden’s largest events for the “geocachers”. With the help of a gps or phone you should look up a “cach”. Usually a small container with a piece of paper where there is a code that you register on the website geocaching.com.
Rosine Sandberg, or Vallafrun that is her “nick” when she geocaches, began in march 2012.
“It all started at a training where we were out in the field and one of the participants suddenly disappeared,” says Rosine.
It turned out that he escaped off to find a cach. Rosine was curious and looked up the page on the Internet. Where did she see that she had two caches in the immediate vicinity of his home.
” It was before I had gps, but I memorized where they were, and on the way home, I looked up the first one, and then the other.
Svalbard and Chernobyl
Since april 2012, Rosine logged at least a day. In fact, it is considerably more. In just over four years, she has managed to log 12 700 cacher!

so Far she has geocachat in 21 countries, including in Svalbard together with a dozen other enthusiasts. But the most odd is, perhaps, a trip to the Chernobyl.

A year of planning
