Ericsson 5g to Tokyo – New Technology

Next year may Tokyo 5g. At least in the Ericsson försökstester.

In 2017, Ericsson to test its 5g technology in central Tokyo. The test will be carried out together with Japan’s largest mobile operator, NTT Docomo, and with the support of Intel.

NTT Docomo and Ericsson has tested 5g together for several years but this represents the first major 5g-the examination in one of the world’s largest cities.

the study will be carried out in the 28 gigahertz, which fit in the SHF-band (super high frequency). 28 GHz is one of the hottest candidates to become the standard for commercial 5g.
