Super Mario Run downloaded of 78 million; mobile Animal Crossing is delayed – FZ

recent figures from Nintendo says that the game Super Mario Run downloaded 78 million times since its premiere in mid-december last year. The game be downloaded for free and gives access to the first track, then it costs around 100 dollars to unlock the rest. Which approximately 4 million, or around 5 per cent, have chosen to do, writes Bloomberg’s tech reporter Yuji Nakamura on Twitter.

We also know that the mobile version of Animal Crossing, which must be free to play, is pushed forward and not be released this financial year (ending in march). So this says Nintendo:

For smart devices, we plan to release the game application Fire Emblem Heroes on February 2. We will also follow last December’s release of Super Mario Run for iOS, with an Android version in March. To accommodate the releases and operation of these applications, we have revised the release schedule for Animal Crossing, which we had originally planned to release during this period. This title will be released during the next fiscal year

Super Mario Run is currently only for Apple Ios devices Iphone and Ipad. But in march released it to Android too, so we get a reason to come back with neddladdnings – and sales values if/when they are presented.
