People who repeatedly feel the joy of life seem to live longer. According to a british study published in the British Medical Journal, writes Vetenskapsradion.

In the study, said 9 000 people between 50 and 80 years on different issues on three occasions with two-year intervals. The questions focused among other things on satisfaction with what you did just now and if you could look back on their lives with joy. The experience of the joy of life stood out and made a big difference in how long they lived.

However, the need to explore other studies in order to be able to say that it is above all joys of life which is the cause of an increased life expectancy. The study looks somewhat sort of related, but unclear why.
