As a Systems Developer, you will be involved in the development of several support functions in Scania’s electrical system and will influence the development of these with the support of our technical roadmap.

We are an important contributor to Scania’s development projects, as we ensure, among other things, that the vehicles can be contacted and that the parameters are set and tested.

The group is responsible for several complex cross-functional data flows. The electrical system is constantly growing, both in size and complexity, and information about the system becomes more and more data-centred.

Your duties

We offer a stimulating work environment where you have great potential to influence the way we work. You will make an important contribution to our work creating tools for Scania’s electrical system. The work involves cross-functional cooperation with other employees in research and development.

You will join one of our development teams responsible for Scania’s diagnostic communication. We are working to develop the next generation of diagnostic components which will provide the customer with more opportunities. You will be responsible for working with system owners and method engineers to create the best solutions in both the current system and future systems.

The current solution has been developed in C++, and you will also work in the XLM in order to build up diagnosis support. We will build the next generation in C# .Net.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in development who likes working in both C++ and C# in an agile environment. You are comfortable with cross-functional work and find it easy to see how your party fits into the larger picture.

Knowledge of electrical systems, UDS/KWP, EA, WPF and design patterns would be an advantage.
